A microSD card slot is offered in various devices which operate using Android, allowing users to add an adjustable quantity of storage. Thanks to Android’s adoptable storage device capability, microSD cards have rapidly been adopted by users globally. Pilots can make the mistake of formatting the card in NTFS, but most mobile devices will not be able to read it. The same holds for laptop users (Windows, Chromebooks or MacBooks) that want an easy and cheap way to increase the internal, local storage capacity without resorting to swapping the solid state drive (and resorting to the dreaded process of disk cloning). In theory, the Micron C200 is the only competitor to the Sandisk Extreme 1TB; the problem is that there are none available anywhere. Clearly there is a supply issue with Micron and we’re not sure why.
