It wasn’t until she launched Wishful — her skincare brand that dropped right before the pandemic — that she began pivoting to a more natural aesthetic. “If I’m being honest about the beauty industry, we’ve gotten to a point where it just never ends. You have to cover up your face, you need higher cheekbones, you have to add Photoshop and Facetune,” she says. “I [started] to feel a little bit like I was doing something wrong when I was [altering] my images. It felt like it was almost a little dirty — something didn’t feel right about it.” Kattan added that in 2019, she began visiting a doctor once a month to remove her fillers. “You don’t remove filler by just pulling it out; you burn it out. It’s so painful,” she says. The Huda GloWish skin tint is available in 13 shades. This seems a little low considering Huda Beauty’s foundations come in 39 variations, but is still better than other skin tints that come in as few as four. As the ‘love child’ of Huda Beauty and Wishful, this skin tint does as it promises and lives up to the quality of the products from both respective brands. It creates healthy-looking skin with a natural, bronze glow.

However, if you have dull, dry skin this will likely be a dream product and will be more than worth the money. What’s more, the consistency of this skin tint means a little goes a long way, and it can be used in multiple ways; mixed with foundation, as a highlighter, as a light bronzer for your body in place of fake tan. Its products – which at launch include a tinted moisturiser and a bronzing powder – combine natural coverage with skincare benefits.
