The Tombliboos are inside their bush, happily practicing their music so loudly that it can be heard all over the garden. Andrew Davenport created, wrote, and composed the title theme and incidental music for all 100 episodes. The Night Garden turns into the night sky and Igglepiggle is seen asleep on his boat as the end credits roll. It is the largest house in the garden with so many activities to do such as playing music, playing with blocks and brushing teeth (like the Pinky Ponk and the Ninky Nonk it is bigger on the inside).

In November 2011 when Nick Jr Russia launched, In The Night Garden aired at 11:00 am (Russian time) or 03:00 am (us time) in 2013 the show stopped airing on Nick Jr Russia for unknown reasons. Then, we see all the characters except for Igglepiggle going to sleep while Igglepiggle delivers his goodbye sequence. The show features a large cast of colourful characters with unusual names who live in a magical forest scattered with large daisies and brightly coloured flowers. If you've never seen In the Night Garden then I'd like you to go and watch a couple of episodes, then come back and explain it to me. Note: Our refurbished grades - Pristine, Very Good and Good - are solely based on the cosmetic condition of the phone.I was expecting dusk type lighting and calm, quiet stories that would be restful and relaxing for little children to watch before bedtime. Makka Pakka is so pleased to be able to make his way out into the garden, that he washes Igglepiggle's and Upsy Daisy's faces on the spot. The characters include Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka, the Tombliboos, the Pontipines / the Wottingers, the Ninky Nonk and the Pinky Ponk. Each Tombliboo is building a tower and when they begin to compare towers and share bricks, they succeed in building a very tall tower indeed – a tower of five.

The characters mostly speak short and repetitive phrases and each one has its special song and dance.

Unfortunately, there is so much noise coming from the Tombliboo's house that she can't make herself heard. They complain over the trubliphone, but then Makka Pakka joins in with his trumpet and they make lovely music together.

Then, the theme music plays as the Night Garden turns and retreats into the night sky, and Igglepiggle is seen asleep on his boat as the end credits roll over.Each episode starts with a shot of a night sky with the stars appearing, followed by a shot of a child in bed while the narrator introduces the programme's episode.

From 3 January until 4 September 2009, the show was moved to a 6:00 pm transmission time but was still retained in the “Bedtime Hour” slot.As of 2010, Series 1 of the show airs daily on Baraem on Nilesat and Arabsat covering the Middle East in Arabic at 7:30 PM. As of February 2008, in Canada, the show airs daily at 5:30 AM on Treehouse TV, Mondays to Fridays at 7:30 PM, and Saturdays at 10:30 AM.
