On the evening of July 1, he is alleged to have told his secretary, “You will not fine me alive at sunrise.” The next morning, he was reportedly found dead lying on the floor next to his bed. Legacy All this data can be verified from: Wikipedia; Encyclopedia Britannica; the other 2 authors as well as other sources, all you need to do is do a bit of research. So this should be read with some caution. I am aware that Marco Reading was considered an expert on Nostradamus and if you want to believe his interpretations of these prophecies for the future that’s okay. However, there are 3 important facts that must be remembered when reading this and other books on Nostradamus.

These words may suggest some kind of revolt against the wealthy who have traditionally been insulated from the economic turmoil affecting the rest of society. Another quatrain presents an equally dire vision of discord and violence:The greatest diviner and scryer who ever lived, Nostradamus was born in 1503 in Provence, France, and his prophecies have been continuously in print since his death on 2nd July 1566. Oddly enough, Nostradamus enjoyed a good relationship with the Vatican. It’s believed he never faced prosecution for heresy by the Inquisition because he didn’t extend his writings to the practice of magic. His popularity grew and he became one of the most famous figures during the Renaissance. Sometimes on the money but more often than not muddily missing the mark, our man’s prophecies lean towards conflagration and catastrophe. It's just horrible what some "Nostradamus experts" do to the poor seer's quatrains. You don't have to look far into Reading's interpretations. Just two examples from the first few "interpreted" quatrains for this review:

Mario Reading was born in Dorset, and brought up in England, Germany, and the South of France. He was educated at Gorse Cliff Preparatory School, followed by Rugby School, and then went on to study Comparative Literature under Malcolm Bradbury and Angus Wilson at the University of East Anglia, where he specialized in French and German Literature and translation before absconding, after two years, on a cargo boat to Africa. Some claim that Nostradamus predicted the rise of Adolf Hitler but did he also predicted a great war would occur in 2023. Turning to the quatrains of Nostradamus, one line particularly stands out: ‘ seven months great war, people dead through evil’. The prediction, claimed the video, was interpreted by Mario Reading, a British author who passed away in 2017.
